The 17th edition of 2016 Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup which is held in Turkey (In İzmir, Kuşadası and Manisa this year); continued with the third and last group matches today.

Turkey 2-0 Czech Republic

Turkish U16 National Team, coached by Ahmet Ceyhan, beat 2-0 Czech Republic in their last match of Group A which was played in İzmir Atatürk Stadium Training Pitch No.1, İzmir, Turkey. Turkey's goals came from Malik Karaahmet (Min. 77) and Recep Gül (Min. 80+1).

Turkey had also guaranteed to qualify to the final after second matches of Group A. With these; Turkish U16 National Team finished Group A in the first place with 9 points.

Turkish U16 National Team will face USA, Group B winner, in the final of 2016 Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup which will be played in Mümin Özkasap Stadium, Manisa, Turkey on 23 January 2016.

Ukraine 2-1 Norway

In the day's first match of Group A,  Ukraine beat Norway 2-1. The match was played in İzmir Atatürk Stadium Training Pitch No.1, İzmir, Turkey and Ukraine's goals came from Stansilav Sorokin (Min. 26) and Ievgenii Isaienko (Min. 77) while Erik Tobias Sandberg (Min. 66) hit the target for Norway. Besides, Petro Kharzhevskyi (Min. 80+5) from Ukraine was sent-off.

After these results; Ukraine finished Group A in the second place with 6 points and gained the right to face Greece, Group B runner-up, in the 3rd place match of the tournament on 23 January 2016 Saturday.

Romania 0-2 Greece

In the day's first match of Group B, Greece beat Romania 2-0. The match was played in Selçuk Stadium, Kuşadası, Turkey and Greece's goals came from Alexandros Voilis (Min. 60) and Okan Souleiman (Min. 80+2) Besides, Antonio Sefer (Min. 68) from Romania was sent-off.

After these results;  finished Group B in the second place with 6 points and gained the right to face Ukraine, Group A runner-up, in the 3rd place match of the tournament on 23 January 2016 Saturday.

Belgium 0-2 USA

In the day's other match of Group B, USA beat Belgium 2-0. The match was played in Selçuk Stadium, Kuşadası, Turkey and USA's goals came from Andrew Carleton (Min. 23) and Joshua Sargent (Min. 74).

After these results; USA finished Group B in the first place with 6 points over Greece by dual average and gained the right to play in the final.

USA will face Turkey, Group A winner, in 2016 Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup Final.
