U19 National Team, coached by Okan Buruk, was defeated 2-1 by Serbia in their first match of 2013 UEFA U19 European Championship Finals Group B which is held in Lithuania.

The match was played in Marijampole, Lithuania and Turkey's only goal of the game came from Recep Niyaz (Min. 88) while Serbia got the victory by Andrea Lukovic (Min. 17) and Alesander Mitrovic (Min. 54)'s goals.

In the day's other match of the group, France drew 0-0 against Georgia.

U19s will face France in their second match of the group on 23 July 2013 Tuesday at 20.45 with Turkish local time.
